Frederick, MD.– Bill Meissner, Vice President of Ruppert Properties, is pleased to announce that construction of Stanford Trading Center I, located just off Route 15 and Mountville Road in Frederick, Maryland, is complete. The building, a speculative 39,600 SF tilt-up concrete office/warehouse project is located in the Stanford Business park, also owned by Ruppert Properties, is home to its first tenant, BDR Express, a privately-held expedited freight shipment company. BDR will be joined later this month by tenants Cintas, a publicly-traded uniform rental and laundering company and Martin Technologies, a privately-held commercial electrical contractor and retrofitter. Both BDR and Cintas moved within Frederick County; Martin Technologies is relocating from Montgomery County.  Only 4,800 SF remain to be leased; leasing agent for the property is Tyler-Donegan Real Estate.

Now under construction and available for leasing this Fall (2005), Stanford Trading Center II, on an adjacent corner in the business park, will consist of two facing buildings offering tenant spaces from 4,800 SF to 39,600 SF each for a total of 68,600 SF. The buildings will offer 24′ clear ceilings, dock and drive-in loading, and provide businesses economical high-utility space in an attractive, covenant-protected environment. The general contractor for both Stanford Trading Centers I and II is Morgan-Keller, Inc. of Frederick, Maryland.

Meissner notes that, “throughout the process of construction and leasing, we have found that our advantage is configuration. The flexibility of our buildings allows us to functionally serve both small and large tenant requirements.” Jason Montgomery, general manager of BDR Express agrees: “We were able to satisfy our need for a greater number of dock doors per space leased than we were able to find elsewhere. In addition, Stanford provides a good central location for our distribution operations, which cover Frederick, Baltimore, Washington, Northern Virginia, and Philadelphia.”
