Frederick, MD – Ruppert Properties announced today that the company has completed a new lease with Truist for 20,000 square feet at Westview Corporate Center in Frederick, MD. The lease includes a 3,000 SF branch in the lobby of the building as well as office space.
“As the bank goes through this transition to Truist and begins a new chapter in its long history of success, we are excited to provide them with a new space for their team in the Frederick market to embark on that journey,” remarked Kate Layman, Director of Property Management for Ruppert Properties.
With the Truist lease, Westview Corporate Center is now 91% occupied. The building was acquired by Ruppert Properties in December of 2018 and was 58% occupied at the time of sale. Other notable leases signed since acquisition include:
• Envistacom, a national contractor for the Department of Defense, leased 14,234 SF
• Edgewater Federal, a federal contractor, leased 11,713 SF
• IQVIA, a human data science company, leased 8,563 SF
• Keller Williams Realty Centre, a residential real estate agency, leased 7,270 SF
• Aerotek, a global recruiting and staffing agency, leased 4,163 SF
Westview Corporate Center is a 211,000 square foot Class A office building located at 5280 Corporate Drive. Fully renovated in 2013, the building features a 150-person conference center and an abundance of nearby retail at Westview Promenade and on Spectrum Drive.
