Laytonsville, MD – Ruppert Properties recently completed two leases totaling 75,000 square feet at its Monocacy Trading Center in Frederick, MD.  These leases include a 60,000 square foot lease with a global supplier to the pharmaceutical industry, and a 15,000 square foot lease with The House of Flynn, an online retailer of handbags and apparel.  With these leases, the 203,000 SF warehouse facility is now 93% occupied to long-term tenants.

Brandon Cannon, who manages the leasing efforts for Ruppert Properties, stated, “We’re excited to add these credit tenants to this asset. We see these leases as evidence that there remains continued momentum across the entire industrial sector.”  Monocacy Trading Center’s newest tenants join Miscellaneous Metals, who recently signed a long-term lease for 113,000 square feet.

Located at 8301 Retreat Road, the property is the former home of the Rotorex Corporation and boasts 22-foot clear ceiling height with ample parking.  The property was acquired in 2015 by Ruppert Properties and underwent a complete renovation.  The remaining available 15,000 square feet features an ESFR sprinkler system, three loading docks and one drive-in.  Monocacy Trading Center also enjoys an additional 72,000 square feet of outside storage currently available for lease.   Additional information can be found at monocacytradingcenter.com.
